Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps but it could lead to dangerous outcomes.
In the same way, some models are difficult to fold away and store making them less convenient than others. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its large dimensions and bulky frames. This model also has a tiny canopy that some test users find to be disappointing. Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to assemble. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together an easy task. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors as well as using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also very heavy, which means it requires two hands to secure the carrier into the base, then detach it from the base.
In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. It's a fairly easy process when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the individual pieces. The majority of these models have an easy process for attaching and removing the toddler seat, as well.
